Masha Shollar – Head Editor
Hailing from Pittsburgh by way of Brooklyn, Masha Shollar is a senior majoring in English Literature. Though she loathes writing about herself in the third person, she loves the Journal of Fine Arts, and is excited to be returning to its staff as one of the Editors-in-Chief. When not anxiously procrastinating, Masha enjoys extolling the virtues of Woolf and Dostoevsky, thinking about cheese, learning useless trivia, and making bad puns. She hopes to one day be known as the most neurotic professor at a small liberal arts college, and to open a literature-themed bar in Greenwich Village where she’ll discover the next Patti Smith.
Rebecca Kerzner – Layout and Design Editor
Born and raised in Houston Texas, Rebecca Kerzner is a senior majoring in Graphic Design and minoring in creative writing. She had the pleasure of designing the Journal of Fine Arts last year, and is excited to be holding the title of Visual Head Editor this year. Fancying herself a modern-day hippie Rebecca enjoys morning yoga dance parties, the plethora of endless Kombucha flavors and obsessing over succulents. She is super excited to be working on the Journal this year, as it is no doubt one of the most underratedly awesome things that exists on Stern/YU Campus.
Neta Chizhik – Social Media and Outreach Editor
Neta was raised between Jersey and Brooklyn and claims to have seen it all. She is a senior majoring in Political Science and minoring in English. She can’t wait to attend law school and pursue a career in international law. She hopes to retire soon and teach, maybe publish some of her “fiction” pieces.
